Varsity Lacrosse

Since my Sophomore year, I have been a part of the Varsity Lacrosse Program that has won 16 state championships in the past 25 years.  My sophomore year, we lost in the State Championship game.  My Junior year, I started on the team. I was second on the defense for points - 1 goal, 3 assists.  We lost in the District Championships, but look to regain our top ranking in the State this coming year.

My Junior year, I played Varsity Football for the first time ever.   I started as OLB for the team and received the prestigious, most promising defender award at the end of the year.  

I have been a member of Mu Alpha Theta since I was a freshman.  I participate in two competitions every year.  We have two meetings every month in which we prepare for the competition ahead.  Through Mu Alpha Theta, I peer tutor for 8 hours a year.

In 9th grade, I was selected to participate on behalf of Saint Andrew’s School in the Model United Nations Congress at Emory University.  I was  a Ukraine representative discussing issues of child soldiers.  In 10th grade, the Model United Nations Congress was hosted at New York University.  There, I was a Ghana representative discussing AIDS/HIV epidemic around the world.

Selected to participate in entrepreneur program run by Boca Chamber of Commerce.  Developed and implemented business plan for Volunteens, online site for teens to find volunteer opportunities. Competed in local business competition and granted $750 for continued website development

Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!)

My Junior year, I selected to participate on behalf of Saint Andrew’s School in Harvard Model Congress as a Republican representative from California.  I served in the Finance committee and focused on use of bitcoins, wage laws, and bank loans.

My Junior year, I joined Junior Achievement, a national club.  I was a member of the Finances Committee, where we designed and bought t-shirts that we then sold to the St. Andrew's community.  The return on investment was 60%.

IMACS

During the 2014 summer, I participated in the IMACS University level Computer Programming.  The class I took was an introductory programming course that teaches core concepts in computer science and covers topics such as Boolean algebra, recursion, numeric algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming.
